Mission/Purpose

It is the mission of the Medical Society of the County of Ulster, NY to:

1. Extend medical knowledge and advance medical science;
2. Elevate the standards of medical education;
3. Promote and secure the enactment of just medical and health laws;
4. Promote friendly intercourse among members of the Society and fellow physicians;
5. Safeguard the professional and economic integrity of Society members;
6. Maintain the Society members in appropriate and equitable relationship with the public and with all agencies working in the fields of health and welfare;
7. Enlighten the public in regard to the problems of medicine.
